Rooted in nature
Honeysuckle & Pine began with a simple question: what would it take to actually rest?
We found 3.03 acres outside Marshall, Texas — loblolly pines, filtered light, and the kind of quiet that only exists a few miles off the highway. Instead of clearing it, we built around it.
The Princess Cabins came first: four small greenhouse structures with glass roofs and doors that open all the way, so the forest is never separated from the room. They're named for the four people this place was dreamed up with — Prince Jeremy, Prince Anthony, Princess Alexandra, and Princess Laveah.
Then came the deck at the center, 24 by 36 feet of open air where sound bath bowls carry into the trees, and the cedar bathhouse, and the stone fire pit that most nights here end around.
We keep it to eight guests. It's not a business decision so much as the whole point.
